My Mother's Family Tree

The Seven SESSUM Siblings - Ruby, Robert, Viola, Sam, Grace, Wanda, and Bubba.

They lined up for family photos every time they all got together as adults and

they always lined up in birth order.

This was the Sessum home down the road and up the hill in Hosston, LA

 Willie and Bessie Sessum for their 50th wedding anniversary in January 1964.

The WORM Barn
My grandparents raised worms for fishing bait and sold them to local fishermen of Black Bayou.
Many of my cousins remember helping Papa Sessum count
the worms out into small containers filled with peat for selling.
